An exciting growth opportunity is available for a responsible Construction Liaison in the Richmond area to provide support to our construction division. The right individual will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will function as an Administrator, Vendor Manager, Bid/Project Coordinator, AIA Draw Processor and Liaison between all internal and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contract Management
Accounts Payable Management of Development and Construction invoices
Maintenance of Construction Files
Job reporting and budgeting
Purchase Order Management
Change Order Management
Monitor submittals of products by subcontractors/suppliers
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

Technologically savvy and able to learn new programs quickly
Ability to troubleshoot common issues when it comes to the use of software
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail and high-level accuracy with documents
The ability to work efficiently and accurately
Flexibility in daily routine with the ability to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities
Learning-based and solution-oriented
Deadline-driven and extremely organized
Open to new ideas and systems
Able to stay calm and patient when faced with the unexpected

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and expertise in contract administration
At least 3 years of Construction Assistant Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project), Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Project Management or similar software
Prior Construction experience preferred
